The UEFA Champions League last 16 draw has been done and we are in for a mouth-watering round of 16 knockout phase. Fasten your seatbelts for next year when the Champions League resumes because it's going to be a cracker.
Manchester City have been drawn Real Madrid. Pep Guardiola's City have the second leg advantage over Madrid. The first leg will be played at the Santiago Bernabeu. City and Real met in the 2015/2016 Champions League season with Real winning 1-0 on aggregate on their way to the title. It is going to be a tough test for both clubs as Guardiola finally returns to Madrid to face off with Zinedine Zidane. This could be make or break for Guardiola because losing this tie might push him to the exit door.

Defending Champions Liverpool will also have a tough test when they tackle Atletico Madrid. Liverpool will return to Wanda Metropolitano where they won their 6th Champions League crown. Like Manchester City, they have the second leg advantage at home. They will therefore have to test the waters in Spain before coming back to their stronghold Anfield. The last time they travelled to Spain, they were at the end of a 3-0 hiding at the Nou Camp against Barcelona orchestrated by Lionel Messi.
