Things around Fox‘s Sleepy Hollow have changed drastically, and so far audiences are not impressed with Season 4.
After a near-total cast change and several plot alterations, the new season debuted last Friday to just 2.21 million viewers. That’s down from the 2.96 audience members who tuned into the last new episode, which was also the last for series heroine Abbie Mills, played by Nicole Beharie.
What’s more distressing is that the 2.21 million is way less than what was in the Friday 9 p.m. time slot this time last year. Sleepy Hollow‘s season premiere audience was 57 percent smaller than the audience for the Gordon Ramsay-led cooking competition MasterChef Junior.
