PATRICE EVRA NAMES THE ONLY PLAYER NEVER TO RECEIVE INFAMOUS HAIRDRYER TREATMENT FROM FERGIE

Former Manchester United left-back Patrice Evra has revealed that Paul Scholes was the only player not to receive the infamous 'hairdryer treatment' by Red Devils legend Sir Alex Ferguson.

Ferguson was known for his no-nonsense approach when it came to player discipline and team-talks, famously leaving David Beckham in need of stitches on his eyebrow after an alleged boot was flung across the dress-room by the Scotsman. Ferguson while at Aberdeen was also involved in a row with his former player and now Scotland manager Gordon Strachan.
And it's generally thought that Sir Alex left no prisoners in the dressing-room, with reports also claiming that he brought Cristiano Ronaldo to tears after laying into the Portuguese star after he was trying to do way too much on the football pitch.
But one player who luckily escaped a scathing was former central-midfielder Paul Scholes, a player who Patrice Evra describes as 'simply the best midfielder on planet'.
Writing on his Instagram page, Evra wrote: " Happy birthday legend!!! Simply the best midfielder on planet !!! The only players never get the hairdryer from the bosssoo lucky  I love this game hahahaahahah @manchesterunited "

Spanish football expert  Guillem Balague recently wrote about how Ferguson just 'couldn't contain himself' when giving his infamous team-talks, recalling a time when he made Cristiano Ronaldo cry.
As quoted in the Metro, he wrote: "In the dressing room, Ferguson could not contain himself: 'Who do you think you are? Trying to play by yourself? You’ll never be a player if you do this!
'Ronaldo began to cry. The other players left him be.'
“He needed to learn,” said [Rio] Ferdinand. “That was a message from the team, not just from Ferguson: everyone thought he needed to learn.” Ronaldo also learnt life at Manchester United the hard way after players like Gary Neville and other senior players had a go at him at every opportunity they got. He was also involved in a row with former Manchester United striker Ruud van Nistelrooy.
